Our nieces were in town!

Our nieces Brittany and Savannah, and our sister-in-law Gina came up from Texas for a visit last week. We haven't seen them since May! Owen has changed so much since then, and so have they! Brittany is now as tall as me!! I can't believe it! Owen was excited to play with his nieces, although it took him a bit to warm up. But, that is par for the course when Owen is concerned! Here are the kiddos, hanging out in the back of Grandpa's truck.

We got Owen a water table for his birthday, and last Tuesday was SO nice, so we decided to bust it out and play! We aren't sure who had more fun....Owen or the girls!

Sweet Brittany, playing with her cousin.

I love this picture of Savannah. She is growing up so fast.

Water fun! Owen was even pretty good about sharing!

We had such a fun afternoon with them. We can't wait until June when we go to Wyoming together! It was great seeing you all! Miss you!

Car Show=Toddler Heaven

Yesterday we went to the KCI Auto Show with our friends Beckie and Sam, and their daughter Izzy. I have blogged before about the blossoming love between Owen and Izzy. :o) Sorry these pics stink...we brought our old point and shoot camera, and apparently the ScanDisk is messed up. The pics are weird looking! Chris is trying to see if we can save them. I also got some hilarious video of the kids. They were crawling around the backs of the various trucks and SUVs and hollering at the people who were walking around. Beckie and I were laughing so hard that we were crying!

So fun to play in the cars! Owen would run as fast as he could (more like STUMBLE as fast as he could) and crash into the other side of the car, and then fall down. Too funny!

Above, Owen is playing "peek-a-boo" with a random Auto Show guest, and Izzy is walking over to see what the fuss is about.

I love the Auto Show!

You know Owen is excited when he busts out the "Double Point"!

Here he is, waving at the people on the other side of the window.

I told you these pics were all jacked up. He discovered yesterday that he likes to push the stroller.

Owen and Izzy had so much fun walking around the show!

Here I am, trying to contain my child. He REFUSED to hold my hand. He insisted on walking wherever he wanted. Beckie and I basically herded toddlers all afternoon.

I believe he was running away from me....lol.

They loved being in the back of all of the trucks! We were joking that the people who are in charge of keeping the cars shiny and clean were probably glad to see us leave. In one SUV they left slobber marks, finger prints, drool, etc all over the back windows. GROSS. But, they had a ton of fun.

Time to go bye-bye! Both of the kids were asleep before we even left the parking garage to go home. Who knew that the Auto Show would be such a happening place for toddlers??

Unveiling.....

I have a logo! I am obviously not in business or anything yet, but I needed a logo for a watermark since I post pics online. (A photography forum that I post on had an issue with someone stealing photos and claiming the work as their own....NOT COOL!) Anyways, I just love the logo! My goal for the weekend is to have a post about....OWEN! We are taking him to get a haircut this weekend so I will have to post before and after pics. My little man is growing up! Too quickly!

Oh yes. I need babies/children/families to practice on! If you are interested in a FREE session then please email me at jen@jnicholephotography.com. While I am practicing, the session is obviously totally free, and I will give you a CD of 20-30 fully edited portraits in both color and black and white, and a print release so you can print them anywhere you want. (I would be happy to help with ordering if you would like, though!) Anyways, just shoot me an email if you are interested!

The G family

My friend Krystal and her husband Matt just welcomed their 3rd baby, Karson. They were nice enough to let me come over and take some pics this morning. Of course, we had to get some shots of Kellen and Grace, too! Kellen was such a big help this morning. He was a great backdrop holder!! Thanks, Kellen! :o) I hope you guys enjoy your pics....here are a few that I am done editing! Thanks again for letting me practice on your new little man! He is so sweet!
